SEE ALSO...

PFTAIRE-1 Antibody (C-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PFTAIRE-1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-PFTAIRE-1 antibody (C-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PFTAIRE-1 plays a crucial role in cell cycle regulation, particularly in the transition from G1 phase to S phase, by interacting with various cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs). Such interaction is vital for proper cell division and proliferation, making PFTAIRE-1 an important target for studies related to cancer and other proliferative diseases. PFTAIRE-1 is localized in the cytoplasm of HeLa cells, despite possessing two N-terminal nuclear localization sequences, suggesting a complex regulatory mechanism governing function and localization. Understanding PFTAIRE-1 dynamics and interactions with other proteins, such as Cdk3, Cdk4, and Cdk6, can provide insights into molecular pathways that control cell cycle progression and potential implications in tumorigenesis.
