SEE ALSO...

PP2A-B55-α Antibody (2G9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PP2A-B55-alpha protein of mouse, rat, human, and chicken origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). Anti-PP2A-B55-alpha antibody (2G9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PP2A-B55-alpha protein plays a crucial role in cellular signaling by regulating phosphorylation state of various substrates, which is essential for processes such as cell division, apoptosis, and maintaining cellular homeostasis. PP2A-B55-alpha protein is primarily located in cytoplasm and nucleus, where PP2A-B55-alpha forms a trimeric complex with a catalytic subunit and a variable subunit, allowing effective regulatory functions. PP2A-B55 interaction with specific substrates is vital for modulating signaling pathways, and dysregulation has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer. Understanding PP2A-B55-alpha localization and function is important for elucidating cellular process roles and potential therapeutic targets.

What is this antibody diluted in? I am trying to label this antibody with biotin and I need to know if there are some components not compatable to it?

Asked by: divya
Thank you for your question. This antibody vial contains 200 µg IgG1 in 1.0 ml of PBS with < 0.1% sodium azide and 0.1% gelatin. Please contact Technical Service by phone, (800)-457-3801 option 2, email <scbt@scbt.com>, or by live chat directly on our website, www.scbt.com if you have any further questions.
