SEE ALSO...

HGFα Antibody (H-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody designed to detect hepatocyte growth factor alpha (HGFα), also known as scatter factor, hematopoietin A, or mammary growth factor. HGFα is a vital component of the hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) protein, which plays a crucial role in various cellular processes including cell growth, motility, and morphogenesis. HGFα interacts directly with the c-Met receptor, a receptor tyrosine kinase, to initiate signaling pathways that are essential for liver regeneration, wound healing, and embryonic development. Additionally, HGFα is involved in tissue repair and regeneration by promoting angiogenesis and influencing the behavior of epithelial and endothelial cells. anti-HGFα antibody (H-10) is raised against a specific epitope mapping between amino acids 3-27 at the N-terminus of human HGFα, ensuring high specificity and affinity for the target protein. HGFα monoclonal antibody (H-10) is validated for use in multiple applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), and demonstrates reactivity with HGFα from various species such as mouse, rat, human, equine, canine, and porcine. By enabling precise detection and quantification of HGFα, anti-HGFα antibody (H-10) facilitates the study of HGF-mediated signaling mechanisms and their implications in both normal physiological processes and pathological conditions like cancer, where HGFα can contribute to tumor growth and metastasis. This makes HGFα (H-10) antibody an indispensable tool for researchers aiming to elucidate the complex functions of HGFα and develop targeted therapeutic strategies, thereby advancing our understanding of its impact on health and disease.
