IFN-α Antibody (F-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects the IFN-alpha protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). IFN-α (F-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. IFN-alpha protein plays a crucial role in immune response, particularly in defense against viral infections, by activating immune cells and enhancing expression of genes that inhibit viral replication.
