    SEE ALSO...

GM-CSFRα Antibody (E-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects GM-CSFRα in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). GM-CSFRα, or Granulocyte-Macrophage Colony-Stimulating Factor Receptor Alpha, plays a crucial role in hematopoiesis and immune response by mediating the effects of granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF), which is essential for the proliferation, differentiation, and survival of myeloid cells. GM-CSFRα is primarily located on the surface of hematopoietic cells, including monocytes, macrophages, and neutrophils, where GM-CSFRα facilitates the binding of GM-CSF, leading to the activation of downstream signaling pathways that promote cell survival and function. Understanding GM-CSFRα localization is vital, as GM-CSFRα expression levels can influence immune responses and the development of various hematological disorders. GM-CSFRα also interacts with the common β subunit, which is shared with the receptors for interleukin-3 and interleukin-5, highlighting GM-CSFRα importance in the regulation of multiple cytokine signaling pathways. Anti-GM-CSFRα antibody (E-7) is an invaluable tool for researchers studying the role of GM-CSF in immune regulation and its implications in diseases such as asthma, cancer, and other inflammatory conditions.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with GM-CSFRα (E-7): sc-166955?

    Asked by: jerojero
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
