SEE ALSO...

GRB2 Antibody (C-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the GRB2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). GRB2 monoclonal antibody (C-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The GRB2 protein plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in the regulation of the Ras signaling cascade, which is essential for cell growth, differentiation, and survival. By acting as an adaptor protein, GRB2 facilitates the interaction between growth factor receptors and guanine nucleotide exchange factors, such as SOS1, thereby promoting the activation of Ras in response to extracellular signals. This interaction is vital for the proper transmission of signals from the cell surface to the nucleus, influencing various cellular processes. Additionally, GRB2 is necessary during embryogenesis for the differentiation of endodermal cells and the formation of the epiblast, highlighting its importance in developmental biology. GRB2 monoclonal antibody (C-7) effectively detects and characterizes the GRB2 protein, making GRB2 antibody (C-7) an invaluable tool for researchers studying signaling pathways and their implications in health and disease.
