SEE ALSO...

LIMP II Antibody (D-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects LIMP II (D-3) protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). LIMP II (D-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. LIMP II protein plays a crucial role in lysosomal function, particularly in trafficking and fusion of lysosomes with other cellular organelles, which is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and protein degradation. LIMP II protein is localized within lysosomes, which are vital for degradation of macromolecules and recycling of cellular components. Proper functioning of lysosomes is critical for various cellular processes, including autophagy and immune response, as lysosomes help eliminate pathogens and damaged organelles. Lysosomal integral membrane proteins, including LIMP II protein, are key markers for lysosomes and are instrumental in studies involving microscopy, cellular fractionation, and investigation of protein trafficking through secretory pathway. LIMP II (D-3) antibody enables researchers to gain valuable insights into lysosomal dynamics and their implications in health and disease.
