I am using the SC-380 antibody in western blots. I used the blocking peptide sc-380 P as a positive control. Can you send me information on the nature of the molecule in sc-380 P? What is the carrier protein? How many peptides/molecule? Txs.

Thank you for your inquiry. The blocking peptide sc-380 P is not intended to be used as a positive control, as it is only a short 15-20 amino acid peptide that is not appropriate for running on a Western Blot gel.

Specifically detects overexpressed human G 2 in HEK 293 cells (no cross-reaction with G 1, G 3, G 4 and G 5). Effectively IPs overexpressed human G 2 in HEK 293 cells.
