Fe65 Antibody (F-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Fe65 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Fe65 (F-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Fe65 protein, also known as APBB1, plays a crucial role in the processing of amyloid precursor protein (APP), which is essential for understanding Alzheimer′s disease pathology. Fe65 interacts with the cytoplasmic tail of APP, specifically binding to the YENPTY motif, which is vital for the regulation of APP trafficking and the subsequent secretion of β-Amyloid.
