PMCA3 Antibody (G-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects PMCA3 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PMCA3 Antibody (G-6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PMCA3 plays a crucial role in regulating intracellular calcium levels, which is vital for numerous cellular processes, including muscle contraction, neurotransmitter release, and cell signaling. PMCA3 is predominantly expressed in brain and skeletal muscle, where PMCA3 helps maintain calcium homeostasis by exporting calcium ions out of cells, thus preventing calcium overload that can lead to cellular dysfunction or apoptosis. Precise regulation of PMCA3 expression is essential for proper functioning of excitable tissues, as fluctuations in calcium levels can significantly impact neuronal excitability and muscle contraction. Understanding PMCA3 dynamics and isoforms is critical for elucidating mechanisms underlying various physiological and pathological conditions, making anti-PMCA3 antibody (G-6) an invaluable tool for researchers studying calcium signaling pathways in these tissues.
