    SEE ALSO...

Integrin αX Antibody (HC1/1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Integrin αX in human samples through immunoprecipitation (IP) and flow cytometry (FCM) applications. Integrin αX is a type 1 transmembrane protein that plays a crucial role in the immune system by forming a leukocyte-specific integrin when combined with the β2 chain, known as the inactivated-C3b receptor 4 (CR4). Anti-Integrin αX antibody (HC1/1) recognizes a protein essential for mediating the adherence of neutrophils and monocytes to activated endothelial cells, as well as facilitating the phagocytosis of complement-coated particles, which is vital for an effective immune response. Abnormal expression of Integrin αX is notably associated with hairy cell leukemia, highlighting Integrin αX′s importance in cancer biology and the activation of proto-oncogenes such as Ras and JunD. Additionally, transcription of Integrin αX is influenced by various proteins and DNA elements, including Sp1, AP-1 family members, C/EBP, Oct-2, and PU.1, which underscores the complexity of regulation. Integrin αX is predominantly found on monocyte-derived dendritic cells, macrophages, and natural killer cells, and upon activation, dendritic cells, particularly those in the skin and mucosal tissues, can migrate to lymphoid organs to interact with T and B cells, thereby initiating and shaping the adaptive immune response. Integrin αX monoclonal antibody (HC1/1) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying immune cell interactions and the underlying mechanisms of immune-related diseases.

How can Integrin αX (HC1/1): sc-53998 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

    Asked by: Germaine
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-53998 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-53998 FITC).
