Integrin αX Antibody (HC1/1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Integrin αX in human samples through immunoprecipitation (IP) and flow cytometry (FCM) applications. Integrin αX is a type 1 transmembrane protein that plays a crucial role in the immune system by forming a leukocyte-specific integrin when combined with the β2 chain, known as the inactivated-C3b receptor 4 (CR4). Anti-Integrin αX antibody (HC1/1) recognizes a protein essential for mediating the adherence of neutrophils and monocytes to activated endothelial cells, as well as facilitating the phagocytosis of complement-coated particles, which is vital for an effective immune response. Abnormal expression of Integrin αX is notably associated with hairy cell leukemia, highlighting Integrin αX′s importance in cancer biology and the activation of proto-oncogenes such as Ras and JunD.
