SEE ALSO...

MAP-4 Antibody (A-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects MAP-4 in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MAP-4 is a crucial microtubule-associated protein that plays a significant role in the assembly and stability of microtubules, which are essential components of the cytoskeletal network. MAP-4 (A-3) antibody influences the spatial organization of microtubules within cells, thereby facilitating various cellular processes, including intracellular transport and cell division. MAP-4 is primarily expressed in tissues such as the kidney, lung, liver, testis, and spleen, where anti-MAP-4 antibody (A-3) contributes to the formation of interphase microtubules and the dynamics of mitotic spindle fibers during cell division. The presence of MAP-4 in these tissues underscores its vital role in maintaining cellular structure and function, making MAP-4 (A-3) monoclonal antibody an invaluable tool for scientists studying microtubule dynamics and their implications in health and disease.

What is the recommended fixation method for immunofluorescence staining with MAP-4 (A-3): sc-365011 monoclonal antibody?

Asked by: Cweed
Thank you for your inquiry. We recommend fixing cells for 5 minutes in -10°C methanol and allowing to air dry. The full protocol can be viewed here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
