Pdcd-2 Antibody (B-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Pdcd-2 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Pdcd-2 antibody (B-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Pdcd-2, also known as programmed cell death-2, plays a crucial role in regulating immune responses and is involved in the modulation of programmed cell death pathways. Pdcd-2 is primarily located in the cytoplasm and interacts with various signaling molecules that influence cell survival and apoptosis. Pdcd-2 expression is notably high in tissues such as the placenta, heart, pancreas, lung, and liver, while showing lower levels in the spleen, lymph nodes, and thymus. Understanding Pdcd-2 localization and function is essential, as research may provide insights into immune regulation and potential implications in autoimmune diseases and cancer therapies. Pdcd-2 (B-4) antibody′s ability to detect Pdcd-2 across multiple species makes this reagent valuable for studying function and interactions in various biological contexts.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-377250 P appropriate for?

Asked by: Trav11
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
